Not only do these taste delicious, but they also have so many great ingredients, and even better, you can adjust them to fit your needs and wants. Overall, the base ingredients will be the same, but changing out something here or there can add a whole new level of flavor.
How to Make Protein Balls
First, you will start out with your base, which will include, oats, ground flax and a protein powder. Depending on what your overall flavor is will change what kind of protein powder flavor you will use. For this recipe we are going to use chocolate.
Then you will add, the coconut flakes, honey, vanilla, salt, chia seed, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.
Mix well and scoop into bite sized pieces. Place into the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Plate them and here is your high protein appetizer. To make them look a little fancier you can dust the top with powdered sugar.
These chocolate chip protein balls are definitely a crowd pleaser, are you ready to wow your friends and family?
Make them more festive by doing 1/4 c. cookie butter and 1/4 c. peanut butter, with white chocolate chips and cinnamon Oats. Cookie Butter Balls
