Details on this Vanilla + Chocolate Shell Protein CREAMi®

These recipes are from Clean Simple Eats, but I made one change to ALL of them. They have you adding 2 tablespoons milk on a re-spin to get the ice cream creamy, but you don’t have to do that if you put your ice cream on the counter for 15 minutes. It’s smooth and creamy EVERY TIME on my FIRST spin. If it’s crumbly, you can add more liquid, but that also means it wasn’t thawed enough (My ICE CREAM EXPERT OPINION!!)

Ingredients in this Vanilla Protein Ice Cream with Chocolate Shell

  1. 2% Milk – This is the base of ALL of my creami recipes! If you have lactose intolerance or other milk preferences, you can swap this for whatever milk you use at home! Just keep in mind it may change the macros and the creaminess a bit!
  2. Clean Simple Eats Simply Vanilla Protein Powder – If you want to get this specific protein powder, use my code HEALTHBEET at checkout for a discount!
  3. Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers – This is what you will use to make the chocolate shell! If you prefer milk chocolate, you can swap for that too!

CREAMi Base

  • 12 oz milk 2%
  • 2 scoops Simply Vanilla Protein Powder Clean Simple Eats

Toppings

  • 100 g dark chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  • 1. Add the milk and the protein powder to a Ninja® CREAMi® jar. Froth until smooth. Cover and freeze overnight.
  • 2. Remove jar from Freezer and let thaw on the counter for 15 minutes. Add the jar to the Ninja® CREAMi® Ice Cream Maker and spin on “Lite Ice Cream.” Remove and add two tablespoons of milk. Return to the Ninja® CREAMi® Ice Cream Maker and spin on “Re-Spin.”
  • 3. Add melting wafers to a bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments until melted. Stir until smooth.
  • 4. Split into three servings and drizzle melted chocolate over each serving. Enjoy!
