The Key to this Salted Toffee Protein CREAMi

These recipes are from Clean Simple Eats but I made one change to ALL of them. They have you adding 2 tablespoons milk on a re-spin to get the ice cream creamy, but you don’t have to do that if you put your ice cream on the counter for 15 minutes. It’s smooth and creamy EVERY TIME on my FIRST spin. If it’s crumbly, you can add more liquid, but that also means it wasn’t thawed enough (My ICE CREAM EXPERT OPINION!!)

If you want to grab any Clean Simple Eats Protein powder, my discount code is HEALTHBEET

Tips on making it

  1. 2% Milk – This is my personal preference when it comes to finding a good balance between creaminess and calories, but you can use whatever milk you have at home!
  2. Toffee Caramel Protein Powder – I use the Clean Simple Eats brand which you can buy with a discount if you use my code HEALTHBEET. If you are looking for a protein ice cream recipe with a more common protein powder flavor, check out this classic vanilla I made a while ago!
  3. Toffee Bits – These add crunch and take the flavor up a whole notch! You won’t want to miss them!
  4. Chocolate Sauce – You can use whatever chocolate sauce you like! They all taste pretty much the same to me!
  5. Flaky Sea Salt – Hard to see but it won’t go unnoticed in the taste! Seriously such a key addition to the recipe!
