Dole Whip Tips and Variations

  • Freeze it flat: set the pints on a level shelf in your freezer so the top freezes evenly.
  • Don’t skip the 30-minute rest: letting the pint soften a bit gives you a creamier result.
  • Crumbly or powdery? Add a tablespoon of milk before you re-spin.
  • Make a Dole Whip float: pour a little pineapple juice over the top.
  • Mix it up: try it with canned mango or peaches, or add a little coconut extract for a piña colada twist.
  • Top it off with fresh pineapple, toasted coconut, or a maraschino cherry.
