What I’m Drinking For Weight Loss {and a 1200 Calorie Day}

A typical question I get when someone buys a meal plan from me is “Where’s the coffee?” and “what can I drink and still lose weight?”
To answer the first, I don’t drink Coffee or tea for religious reasons. (learn about that here). But, that doesn’t mean I don’t consume caffeine or other beverages that are less healthy than coffee or tea. But because I don’t specifically drink those, I’ve never addressed it in my meal plans.
I think having a variety of low or no calories drinks can dramatically help you lose weight because it makes dieting easier. It helps me to not get too hungry, it’s filling, and I enjoy sipping on something all day long.
The drinks I consume the most, and hasn’t slowed down my weight loss include
- First is to get 1 gallon of water a day! I usually can drink this by 10am because of my workout.
- Diet sodas (except diet coke- I’m free from Diet coke for 1 full year!)
- I make soda with a soda stream that I’ll add mio drops into or Skinny Syrups. Tell me if you want a post about all things Soda Stream, cause I’ll do it!
- I also like crystal light, and almost all drink packets.
- I drink a lot of BCAA’s with creatine and glutamine mixed in. (I get a variety of brands here, but typically the Xtend, because I can find it anywhere).
- Hot Sugar free Apple cider, especially when it’s cold outside.
- Bucked Up Caramel Apple pre-workout. Except I drink this in the middle of the day just for the caffeine.
- And lately, I’ve been drinking a lot of water with a squirt of lemon juice and a stevia packet. It’s so good and tastes like lemonade! I know I’ll love this even more in the summer.
As long as it’s zero to 10 calories, I’m all in on drinks.
However, all this will change a few weeks before the bikini show. Drinking so much liquid (especially with artificial sweeteners) really distends my stomach. And I need my core to come in tight on show day!

My Meals 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 {𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭}
1269 calories, 116 g protein, 87 g carbs, 48 g fat
- 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭: 1/2 cup oatmeal with sugar free maple syrup. 1 cup egg whites, with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
- 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡: 6 ounces chicken breasts (raw weight), lettuce, blackberries, 1 ounce fat free feta cheese, 1 ounce pecans, and 2 Tablespoons Bolthouse Pomegranate poppyseed dressing
- 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤: 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt with 2 tablespoons CSE birthday cake protein powder and sprinkles.
- 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫: 6 ounces chicken, with 125 g sweet potato and 2 cups broccoli and cauliflower (with kernel season’s nacho cheddar)

YES!! I just have the dinners left to run through nutrition calculations again to make sure they are accurate, and then it will be ready!30 days of breakfasts, lunch, snacks, and dinners for 1500 calorie days, using the meals I’ve been eating the past month!!
Thanks for buying the 1200 calorie meal plan! You’re going to LOVE my new one. I divided it by meal this time, so it’s easier to mix and match.
