In one of my recent classes for the Park City Culinary Institute, we made homemade pizza with Caesar salad and Parmesan cheese baskets!
At only 105 calories per cheese bowls, these are so indulgent and delicious!
I actually have made these several times before, so it wasn’t new to me. However, I forgot how much I love them! Similar to my 1 minute parmesan crisps here (that is also, one ingredient and soooo yummy), these are just a new way to cook them, that can double as a bowl for a delicious salad like Caesar salad!
How to make these simple, 2 step parmesan bowls
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese to cover the bottom of a small non stick skillet. (not the powdered kind)
- after cheese melts and begins to bubble and brown, slide it onto a small upside down bowl to shape. Allow to cool completely.
- Turn right side up after cooled and serve a salad in the cheese bowl.
