I’m making an attempt to document regular meals, even when they aren’t that spectacular or unique. But, I really hope to be a resource of EASY meal IDEAS that can help you with weight loss, as much as actual recipes. And this flat bread made a terrific breakfast for me the other morning. All over the health and nutrition internet food world, people are sharing this recipe for two ingredient greek yogurt bread. They’ve been making bagels, no yeast greek yogurt pizza crust, and a million other things. It’s crazy what these two ingredients are capable of!

2 Ingredients for flat bread:

  • Non-fat plain greek yogurt and
  • Self rising flour.

In order to keep this to two ingredients, the self rising flour is key. Otherwise, you’d have to add salt and baking powder. But the self rising flour already has it incorporated.

Gimicky? Maybe. But since i bought my first bag of self-rising flour, I actually use it ALL THE TIME!

How to make a single serving of greek yogurt flat bread

Having this flat bread for breakfast meant I just wanted one piece! And it was so easy to make in my toaster oven. I knew I wanted to eat the whole thing.

So, what I’ve done is used only 1/4 cup of the self rising flour and 2 tablespoons of the greek yogurt.. That’s all you need for one serving.

Then, I pressed it onto some parchment paper on a cookie sheet and baked it in my toaster oven at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. (for more single serving, toaster oven recipes, check out this tag here)

It was perfectly cooked in 5 minutes! Then, I spread avocado and Everything but the Bagel Seasoning on top.

  • Mix and press onto a cookie sheet. Optional: Spray the dough with butter flavored cooking spray just for flavor and crisp.
  • Then, bake in toaster oven or regular oven for 5 minutes at 400.
  • Optional topping ideas: Top with avocado and everything but the bagel seasoning!!
