Poor man's apple pie with calories and macros

Last Sunday, my neighbor stopped by with a sleeve of graham crackers and a jar of their homemade applesauce.
It was so sweet!!

He said, “Try this! Take a graham cracker, and top it with whipped cream and a spoon full of applesauce. You will love it. Our family does it all the time”.

And of course, I HAD WHIPPED CREAM IN MY FRIDGE. I ALWAYS have a can of whipped cream in my fridge….for emergencies such as this!

And guess what else.. it was SOOO GOOD!
We managed to polish off the whole sleeve of Graham crackers by the end of the day.

So! Give it a try..

  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream
  • and 1 tablespoon applesauce!

I’ve done this with sliced apples, apple pie filling, and even cooked apples with cinnamon. Also, try sprinkling cinnamon on top.
