Details on this Rocky Road Protein Ice Cream

These recipes are from @cleansimpleeats, but I made one change to ALL of them. They have you adding 2 tablespoons milk on a re-spin to get the ice cream creamy, but you don’t have to do that if you put your ice cream on the counter for 15 minutes. It’s smooth and creamy EVERY TIME on my FIRST spin. If it’s crumbly, you can add more liquid, but that also means it wasn’t thawed enough (My ICE CREAM EXPERT OPINION!!)

Ingredients for this Rocky Road Protein CREAMi Ice Cream

  1. 2% Milk – Did you know that drinking milk builds strong bones? So this protein ice cream helps build your muscles AND your bones!
  2. Clean Simple Eats Chocolate Brownie Batter Protein Powder – I love CSE because their protein powder is a lot smoother than others! If you try this protein powder, use my discount code HEALTHBEET at checkout!
  3. Cocoa Powder – This just gives you an extra rich chocolate flavor!
  4. Chopped Almonds – A staple in any rocky road ice cream and they are rich in nutrients and healthy fats!
  5. Mini Marshmallows – They are actually pretty low calorie and you need them to make a rocky road ice cream complete!
  6. Chocolate Syrup – This is probably more option but it is like the cherry on top for this recipe! If you add it, you won’t regret it!
