Okay let’s get down to it. I’ll be honest, the first time I had these turkey, cheese and pickle wraps, I was sure that they weren’t going to be good, but oh boy I was wrong! They are delicious!!!
The best part is that they have great macros (2 Carbs, 2 Fats and 4 Proteins), and you can adjust the ingredients to your liking. My family prefers ham; I like the macros with turkey better. You can also do cream cheese, but that also tends to have a bit more fat. One other thing that I love is that they are also, naturally gluten free!
How to make bread-less sandwich bites
The trick to making these sandwich bites is starting off with a large piece of lunch meat, (I personally like the Peppered Turkey from Deli Fresh). Try to use fresh meat, the more fresh the easier it is to wrap. Wipe the meat off so there is no excess moisture on it.
Then spread 1/2 a wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge all over it. Try to spread it as even as possible. Lay a pickle near one end and roll it up. You want it to be tight so that the pickle doesn’t fall out.
Finally, put a few different tooth picks in it and slice it up so they are in nice bite size pieces.
That’s it!
Of course you can add things to the bites. A couple of ideas are olives, spinach on top or inside, and of course dips. Mustard, Mayo, hummus, pretty much anything you like.
Let me know how you like these bread-less sandwich bites and what you do to make them yours!
