I am committed to eating delicious treats and still meeting my weight loss goals! That’s why I LOVE the Ninja Creami for low calorie ice cream, or a protein treat!

Ingredients in this Ninja Creami Recipe

I know you can find a million recipes on the internet for Ninja Creami Protein ice cream that has a LOT of ingredients. Heck, I even have some, and I love to make them.

But, If I’m going to be completely honest, the majority of time I’m making protein ice cream, I am only using TWO Ingredients plus a mix-in. (so 3 in total)

I’m using:

  • Vanilla Protein powder– For this circus animal ice cream, I’ve used multiple brands. The one I photographed is Clean Simple Eats Vanilla. But, I also use UMP a lot. Use your favorite vanilla powder (1 scoop or 32 grams) to start.
  • Low fat milk or almond milk- While I love almond milk for the low calories (30 calories per cup), sometimes, I use low fat milk. I do find the lowfat milk slightly creamier (as opposed to icy) than the almond milk.
  • The mix-in (and in this case, Circus Animal Cookies). With a base of milk and protein powder, the sky is the limit! Mix ANY cookie into this ice cream and make any flavor you want. Oreo, Biscoff, Nutter Butters, Lorna Doone’s. YUM! Can you imagine. Today, just 1 serving of Circus Animal Cookies.

Equipment

Ingredients

Mix-in

  • 7 small Circus Animal Cookies

Instructions

  • Mix in a container for the Ninja Creami and freeze.
  • Then, leave it on the counter for 20 minutes before blending in the ninja creami. I found that *slightly defrosted gives you a very creamy creami- without having to add extra liquid and respinning.
  • Then add 7 circus animal cookies and spin using the "mix-in" button.
