Low Calorie Foods I’m Eating Right Now for Volume (and a 1200 calorie day)

70 days left of my weight loss journey, for Bikini prep 2023

To follow up with my post yesterday about what I do when I get hungry dieting, I think I need to add that I eat a lot of high volume food that makes it so I don’t experience hunger too often.

  1. cucumbers and cinnamon 30 calories for a full cucumber
  2. Cauliflower Rice- 15 calories per 3/4 cup
  3. Zero calorie drinks
  4. Baby carrots with course salt (mmmmm!!)- 40 calories per cup
  5. Broccoli- roasted with cooking spray and salt – 30 calories per cup
  6. konjac noodles or Heart of Palm noodles
  7. Canned green beans- Only 30 calories for the WHOLE can!
  8. Canned artichoke hearts (not in oil) – 60 calories for the WHOLE CAN
  9. Sugar free Jello – 40 calories total for the large box.
  10. Altoids < 5 calories per mint
  11. Sugar free apple cider – 15 calories for a cup
  12. Hard boiled egg whites -Only 15 calories each

𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞
1233 calories, 146 g protein, 120 g carbs, 22 g fat

  • 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭: Protein Waffles! 1/2 cup egg whites and 1 scoop protien powder. With Sugar free syrup and mangos on the side.
  • 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡: No salad today! We had a snowstorm, and I just wanted something warm for lunch. So, 4 ounces chicken, 125 g sweet potatoes, and 100 grams of broccoli.
  • 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤: Nonfat plain Greek Yogurt with 1/2 scoop CSE Peaches and cream protein powder. Plus a Built Bar
  • 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫: Tried the “Heart of Palm Noodles”. The whole package was 60 calories, and I DID eat the whole package. Kind of an expensive dinner. The noodles were $5!!
    But, I had this with 5 ounces ground turkey, frozen veggies, and spaghetti sauce.

  1. Hi Amy, I just wanted you to know that I lost 1.2 pounds in the last week! I’ve been losing each week using your meal plans, but this week was a big one! This brings my total lost to 15.1! I have about 18 more to go, so I’m sticking with it. Your plans make it easy because the yogurt snacks feel like a treat!
