Why should you make these cookie dough bites?
Ok friends. Let’s get real here for a second. If you’re thinking, for 77 calories, I might as well eat a REAL ball of cookie dough, I’ll share why this is better.
Eating one ball of cookie dough never ends with just one bite. If that were the case, I’d buy frozen cookie dough and keep it in my freezer to eat one a day and absolutely enjoy the hell out of it.
But, my problem is, I can’t stop at one if it’s the real thing. I can eat cookie dough until I am sick. Which is why protein cookie dough bites are DIFFERENT.
With healthy ingredients like oats, honey, protein powder, and peanut butter, I’m less likely to over indulge. The protein and oats, with the healthy fats from the peanut butter helps with those satiety signals. Earlier this week I wrote about how when you meet your protein requirements for the day, you’re less likely to over consume calories. And this is true for me!
So, don’t fear these delicious little protein bites. Instead, make them, enjoy them, and feel good about sticking to your diet without overdoing it.
