If you are anything like me then you LOVE wraps…especially breakfast wraps! That is why this high protein breakfast wrap has been my absolute go-to! It is high protein and I feel like I can throw any veggies I want in to switch it up each day!

Why I Know You’ll Love This High Protein Breakfast Wrap

Wraps are a go-to for my husband and I! Especially if we are on the go! They are way better than sandwiches in our opinion because tortillas don’t get smashed and soggy like bread does. On top of that, they are easy to hold and delicious!

This specific wrap is one of my favorites because it is so versatile! In this wrap, I added one egg, two egg whites, fat-free cheddar cheese, spinach from my garden, avocado, and a low carb mission tortilla! You can also add mushrooms or bell peppers or onions and it will be just as delicious!

Ingredients Used to Make This High Protein Breakfast Wrap

  1. Egg – Eggs are a great source of protein and also healthy fats! Egg yolks specifically are packed with vitamins and nutrients that help your body function!
  2. Egg whites – I love to use egg whites to add extra volume and protein with little added calories! Did you know that a large egg white only has 17 calories?? And 3.6g protein per egg white! I like to buy egg whites in the carton so I am not wasting the yolk!
  3. Fat free Cheddar Cheese – I LOVE cheese but it can add calories quick! That is why I go for a fat free option!
  4. Spinach – From my indoor garden!! I love it fresh! You can also swap this for other veggies such as mushrooms, onions, bell peppers etc. like in my cottage cheese eggs recipe!
  5. Avocado – I feel like this is a necessity in a good breakfast wrap! It adds so much creaminess and flavor, and avocados are super rich in healthy fats!
  6. Low Carb Mission Tortilla – This is important if you want to get the same macros and calories as me! But if that doesn’t matter to you, any tortilla will work!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg whites
  • fat free cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 avocado
  • spinach
  • 1 low carb mission tortilla

Instructions

  • Spread avocado on tortilla
  • Mix all other ingredients together and cook in skillet
  • Add cooked eggs to tortilla
  • Roll up the tortilla and enjoy!
