I’ve been eating a lot of mashed sweet potatoes during my current attempt to get ready for an NPC bodybuilding show in June. I only have 2 months to go, and I still have a LOT of improvements to make!
A few days ago I decided to try to make some healthy sweet potato fries in our Air Fryer instead of my repetitive baked sweet potato. I bought a Cuisinart Toaster Oven with Air Fryer at Costco last year. We mostly use it as a toaster, but once in a while I will roast some veggies, or bake a potato. I hardly ever use the air fryer function.
However, earlier this week, I peeled and sliced 100 grams of sweet potato (equivalent to one medium sized potato). I added the sliced up sweet potato to the air fryer basket. Then, to keep the side dish on the healthy side, I sprayed the sweet potato fry slices with some olive oil cooking spray. Finally, I sprinkled it all over with salt.
I baked the healthy sweet potato fries in the air fryer, set at 400 degrees for 6-7 minutes. I flipped some of the fries and baked for 4-5 more minutes.
And the results were AMAZING!! I couldn’t believe I had the tastiest sweet potatoes in under 10 minutes. Normally, I’d wait a full hour for my daily mashed sweet potato. I’ve made my sweet potatoes into fries every single day this week, and I’m hooked!
While I don’t think a recipe is necessary for this, if you wanted to print the healthy sweet potato fries recipe, here you go!

I don’t have an air fryer. Can this recipe be adapted to bake in the oven?
Absolutely! I bake them at about 425 for about 10-15 minutes
I made this for today’s lunch and so GOOD! Funny enough, I was very on the edge of trying a Keto diet because there’s so much info out there and I was really confused at the beginning lol. I read a blog post. This is a review of a weight loss program called the Custom Keto Diet and the writer (Blake)’s journey with starting and achieving amazing results with the Keto diet. I can’t stress enough that people should try this before wasting money and their time on things that don’t work. It changed my life!
Glad you made it Sarah! Thanks for sharing!
Delicious and healthy!
