This healthy fruit dip might not even make it to the fruit tray! I’m just saying, you might eat it like pudding before you even cut up some apples!
Mixing sugar free pudding mix into Greek yogurt has been an indulgence of mine over the last few month. I can not get enough of it! Just one tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix in a bowl full of plain non fat greek yogurt tastes like pudding!
In fact, some of my FAVORITE sugar free pudding mixes to add to the Greek yogurt is:
- Sugar free pistachio pudding
- Sugar free butterscotch
- Sugar free cheesecake
- and sugar free lemon
So, I didn’t think it was outrageous to assume I could get some sugar free caramel pudding mix and make this mix for my Studio 5 Segment as a healthy fruit dip.
Well, apparently, there is no such thing as sugar free caramel pudding mix at the grocery store! The closest thing I could find was this caramel pudding and this one on Amazon.
So, I actually made mine with regular caramel pudding mix (rather than sugar free, which is also what the nutrition information is calculated from. Full sugar caramel healthy fruit dip.
But, if you can plan ahead and order online, definitely try one of the sugar free kinds of pudding on Amazon.
Otherwise, get some of the other sugar free puddings and just give this a try. You won’t regret it. It’s delicious just eating in a bowl with a spoon. No fruit necessary!
To make this a little more decorative and a little more like dessert, I sprinkled some toffee bits on top and of course, some whipped cream!
So yummy!! Low calorie, fat free, and DELICIOUS!
So, altogether, if you eat the whole bowl yourself, which I recommend you do, it is 145 calories, 30 grams carbs, 17 g protein, and 0 grams fat. Those numbers work if you are using 2/3 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon of pudding mix.
