Ingredients in this Strawberries and Cream Low Cal Oatmeal
- Oats – The base of every oatmeal but also the key to a hardy breakfast that will keep you satisfied for hours!
- Milk – I use 1% because I think it gives just enough cream without being too high calorie! I usually make oatmeal with water but milk is essential for making this recipe creamy! If you prefer water based oatmeal you’ll love this Snickers Oatmeal!
- Vanilla Extract – Did you know that aside from enhancing flavor, vanilla extract has anti inflammatory properties??
- Zero Calorie Sweetener – This one is optional depending on how sweet you like your oatmeal!
- Salt – Just a dash because it brings out all the other flavors so well!
- Strawberries – Packed with vitamins and minerals and they are in season now! If you are looking for another way to use your strawberries, try this Strawberries and Cream Protein French Toast!
- Whipped Cream – I use sugar free because it does the job for less calories!
