Spend a week with me, and you’ll likely see me go through 2-3 extra large containers of nonfat plain greek yogurt. It’s a staple in my life to make sure I get over 100 grams of protein per day (which is always my goal for muscle building and satiety!)
But, 90% of those Greek yogurt snacks includes sugar free pudding mix! Mixing just one tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix into 2/3- 1 cup of greek yogurt is SUCH A TREAT!

But, I must admit, I never would have thought about mixing candy canes into my greek yogurt, until this week. I was scrolling social media when I saw an ad for Wendy’s Peppermint Frosty. I immediately decided to make that into my own homemade peppermint frosty protein shake.
Using a fresh container of Greek yogurt, and some cheesecake sugar free pudding mix, I decided to make a peppermint yogurt bowl instead.
And so yummy!! As far as adding a crushed up candy cane into the yogurt, candy cane’s are actually pretty low in calories. The candy cane I found was 40 calories. I didn’t see any sugar free candy canes at my grocery store, but I did notice some overpriced sugar free candy canes on Amazon, but they were HIGHER in calories! Crazy. Don’t waste your money on sugar free candy canes.
I also tried to add peppermint extract, but it tasted too “extracty”. So, you can try it, but I didn’t like it.
So, without further ado, I bring you: PEPPERMINT PROTEIN YOGURT BOWL!
